Ready to try something fun, freeing and just a little bit daring?
Curious about burlesque but not quite ready to step on stage alone?
This course is the perfect place to start your burlesque journey, whether you are a complete beginner or already have some burlesque/ performing experience and want to be in the energy of a fabulous and fierce sisterhood!

You’ll be guided through the foundations of burlesque, from classic striptease technique, movement, fan- dance and character exploration to learning and co- creating a choreographed showgirl routine - all within a supportive troupe setting.
​
You’ll build the skills and confidence perform in front of others, to embody your own unique showgirl energy, and bring her to life in a sparkling troupe performance full of glamour, expression, and unapologetic radiance in a dazzling venue at The Liberated Woman showcase.

Burlesque absolutely changed my life...
​
I am so deeply in love and passionate about this art form and it is truly my greatest joy to be finally sharing it with you after so many years in the making.
​
I found burlesque in 2017, when I was struggling with eating disorders, body image issues and low self-esteem.
Burlesque has been the space where I have healed on stage, faced my greatest fears and achieved things I never thought imaginable.
​
It is the space where all bodies, genders, sexualities and expression is celebrated and met with applause rather than criticism.
​
​It is the space where you can be messy, imperfect, working it all out, trying something new, expanding the edges of your comfort zone and stop playing small and start being unapologetically you.
​
Saying yes to my first burlesque class all those years ago changed the direction of my life in ways I could never have predicted. It opened doors within myself I didn’t know existed.
